Every child deserves a safe, loving home
Foster care is a temporary living arrangement for children who cannot safely remain in their own homes. It's about providing stability, healing, and hope during a family's most challenging time.
Learn how The Foster Collaborative began and how our mission has grown to serve children and families across our community.
The Foster Collaborative was born out of a shared dream: to see every child in Allen County experience safety, stability, and belonging. Our story began through the CAFO More Than Enough Fellowship Grant, which brought together local nonprofits and churches with one common purpose: to make it easier for families to find the help and hope they need.
We are a growing network of faith-based organizations, agencies, and community partners working side by side for the good of foster children and families in our community. Rooted in our faith and our call to be the hands and feet of Jesus, we believe families thrive when the whole community steps in together.
The Foster Collaborative serves as one table where collaboration replaces competition and connection leads to change. By linking arms across churches, agencies, and professionals, we aim to strengthen families, support those on the front lines of foster care, and remind every child that they are seen, valued, and loved.
Understanding the scope helps us better serve children and families in our community.
