What is The Foster Collaborative?
The Foster Collaborative in Allen County brings together faith-based organizations, LCPAs, and local churches around one shared goal: ensuring there are more than enough homes, resources, and support for foster children and families. Formed through the More Than Enough Grant from CAFO, the collaborative is built on the belief that we can accomplish more together than alone. By sharing existing community events and creating new opportunities, the group supports foster families, children in care, and families of origin in practical, meaningful ways—connecting people to resources, strengthening community support, and creating spaces where individuals feel seen, supported, and equipped.
How can I get involved?
We’d love for you to be part of The Foster Collaborative by joining our quarterly gatherings with church leaders, ministry volunteers, caseworkers, and community leaders—your voice and input matter. These meetings are a space to stay informed, share ideas, and occasionally engage in collaborative projects together. While a core team leads the work, real impact happens when the whole community is involved, helping us better serve vulnerable children and families in Allen County.
